On August 23, 2007, NBC, MGM Television, and Reveille jointly announced that they were updating the 1989-1996 reality series "American Gladiators" for a January 2008 premiere. The physical competition on the show is a massive battle of strength, wits, and personality, making it ideal entertainment for live viewing. Here's how fans can obtain free tickets to see the action in person as it occurs during filming in the studio with Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali hosting.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure that you're located within easy traveling distance of Sony Studios in Culver City, California, where "American Gladiators" is taped live. For driving directions, see the maps section of the ticket website.

  2. Step 2

Visit the "American Gladiators" ticket website and click on the link that says "For Tickets Click Here." Although the tickets are provided free of charge, you must provide personal information to be considered for admission.

  3. Step 3

Fill in the requested information on the form, including your full name, telephone number, the quantity of tickets desired, and your preferred date of attendance. You can list a different number of tickets for each available filming date, but it's unlikely anyone will receive admittance to multiple tapings. Moreover, expect for ticket quantities to be limited since many people are interested in the show due to nostalgia and its similarity to traditional sporting events.

  4. Step 4

Check your telephone messages regularly to ensure you don't miss a call notifying you that you've been approved to receive tickets.

  5. Step 5

Follow the instructions you are given to obtain your tickets for "American Gladiators" and show up on the relevant date ready to see some amazing athletic competition.

Tips & Warnings
  • Despite the widespread appeal of "American Gladiators," children under the age of 18 cannot attend tapings of the show without a parent or an adult guardian accompanying them. Therefore, plan accordingly.
  • Everyone in your party should bring a valid state or government ID with a picture for security and proper identification purposes.
  • Audience members are instructed to wear dark clothing and to refrain from wearing either hats or tops with logos.
  • Don't be discouraged if there are no available dates listed. TV shows often film weeks in advance, and the more popular or anticipated a show is, the faster the tickets will run out. Just continue to visit the website on a regular basis until more dates appear.
