4. Advertise your services as a freelance consultant. Get your name out to the public. Leave your business cards at jewelry stores, bridal boutiques and tux rental stores. Start a website that shows your design aesthetic through photographs, as well as your contact information. Set up booths at bridal shows to generate new business.
