Once again you were shaving your legs and felt that darned burning feeling. You look down only to find that stream of blood running down your leg. You're already late for work, what are you going to do now?

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

    How to Stop the Bleeding from a Shaving Nick

  1. Step 1
    Ice will stop the bleeding.
     
    Ice will stop the bleeding.

    Press an ice cube on the nick for two minutes. Press firmly and use a towel to hold the ice.

  2. Step 2

    Dab an antibiotic ointment on the nick.

  3. Step 3
    Almost done!

    Apply a band aid to the nick.

  4. Step 4

    Hurry up so you are not late for work!

Tips & Warnings
  • If your skin is dry it is more likely to get nicked during shaving so be sure to apply a moisturizer daily.
  • For added protection use a moisturizing shave gel.
