How to Clean Your Washing Machine

There are several ways to keep your washing machine looking clean and to keep it spic and span. I will tell you a few good methods to try and hope you are successful in cleaning your washing machine. I have tried several of these methods of cleaning and they worked.

Things You'll Need

• A full load of hot water
• A cup of bleach
• A cup of lemon
• or A cup of salt

Instructions

1. 

   First fill your washing machine with warm or hot water then add one cup of lemon juice, one cup of salt or one cup of bleach. Start your washing machine and let the machine run through the complete cycle and do not add clothes, suds or any other cleaning fluids

2. 

   After the washer goes through the complete cycle. Do laundry as usual. Do this cleaning method a least once a month to keep your washing machine clean inside and don't forget to clean lint trap.

3. 

   I have shown you an old-time washing machine in last step and this one which people used years ago. Those were cleaned with wood ashes which made a good cleaner at the time or with lemon juice.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not use steel wool or SOS or any other cleaning pads or harsh cleaners inside your washing machine or it will damage the surface of the tub and will cause rust to form.

• Please do not use ammonia because if you inhale any fumes it may cause asthma attacks or allergies
