Things You’ll Need:
- Adobe InDesign CS2

Step1
Open an Adobe InDesign document from the File menu or Welcome screen. The document should have at least one paragraph of text.
Step2
Select "Place" from the File menu. Locate the image you want to insert into the document. Uncheck the "Replace Selected Item" box. Click "Open." Click the spot on the page where you want to insert the image.
Step3
Activate the "Scale" tool from the Tools box to resize the image, if necessary.
Step4
Activate the "Selection Tool" from the Tools box or press "V" on the keyboard.

Select "Text Wrap" from the Window menu to open the Text Wrap palette.
Step6
The following methods are available for wrapping text around an image.
WRAP AROUND BOUNDING BOX - Use this option to wrap text around the edge of the object's rectangular border.
WRAP AROUND OBJECT SHAPE - Use this option to contour text around shape of the object inside the rectangular border. Select DETECT EDGES from the Contour Options Type field.
JUMP OBJECT - Use this option to prevent text from wrapping around the left and right sides of the image.
JUMP TO NEXT COLUMN - Use this option to detach all text below the image and place it into the next column.
OFFSET VALUES - Use these options to determine the amount of white space between the image and the text.
