No Leechers!

Are you sick of AFKers doing none of the work and getting full credit in the battlegrounds? As of patch 2.1, Blizzard has implemented a Reporting system, through which you can deny leechers both Honor and battleground Marks. There are a few things you need to do in order to make the reporting system work.

Instructions

    • 1

Identify leechers. The easiest way to spot them is to look for people who aren't moving. Cross-reference the people who aren't moving with names on the battleground list who have done no damage, healing or made any Honorable Kills. If their numbers are all 0 and they aren't moving, chances are they're AFK.

    • 2

Use the Report Player AFK function. Simply click on the player to select them, then right-click and look for the report option.

    • 3

Spread the word. One person reporting the AFKers isn't enough. There must be multiple people reporting the AFKers (theories say at least 5, though exact numbers have not been confirmed) in order for them to receive the "Inactive" debuff. Make sure you let everyone in the raid know who is AFK.

    • 4

Keep an eye on the graveyards. AFKers are constantly inventing new ways to beat the system. One of their tricks is to get into combat, die, go to the graveyard and not resurrect. Watch for people who don't seem to be leaving the graveyards.

    • 5

Do it the easy way. Go to any reliable WoW Mod site and type in "AFK". Chances are high that you'll get a mod that automatically reports battleground leechers for you. While it's no guarantee that enough people in the raid will have a reporting mod, at least it will tell you who is definitely leeching and will allow you to spread the word.

    • 6

Be consistent. The trick to really clamping down on the leecher problem is consistency. If enough people consistently report AFKers, they will eventually give up. Keep at them!

Thanks for the tips. I hate playing with people that don't really play at all and still want all the benifits.
