We've all grown up with criticism in our lives. You are given a choice, you can either learn from it, or discard it and move on. When to take it, and when not to is a challenging idea. Read on to find out more.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

At every work place, I'm sure there is criticism, and not all of it is constructive. People are immature, and sensitive. Sometimes you may have indirectly hurt someone, or rubbed them the wrong way, without even knowing it...and now they are constantly criticising you or looking for ways to sabotage you.

  2. Step 2

Okay, that's probably only in extreme circumstances, but trust me, people are out to get you. Take me for example, I'm young, perky, and not afraid to tell you how it is. I don't use fluff, I don't sugarcoat anything, and this gets me in to trouble.

  3. Step 3

I deal with head office a lot in my work place, I'm in Canada and they are in Chicago. I have met these people, they have met me. Yet not only do they constantly criticise me, lots of times they is no value. My boss is constantly protecting me against acquisations that hold no water.

  4. Step 4

My point is this, listen to the criticism, and decide there and than if it holds value. Not everything you hear does, if it does, great learn from it and move on. If it doesn't than let it go. It does no good harping on it, and remembering it. I let corporate's criticisms go, even though they held no values, and I got no apologies. Life is too short to be miserable. People love to make other people miserable. Decide who you should listen to, and who you shouldn't and move on, let it go.
