Step 1
The only way to get over your fears, is to accept them, and try to challenge your fears. Unless they are phobias, which are more pronounced, you should be able to do this yourself. If you are dealing with phobias, no need to see a psychiatrist.
-
Step 2
You need to learn emotional freedom technique. This technique has helped people with water phobias, space phobias, people phobias, and more.
-
Step 3
EFT, is a tapping system, where you tap points on your body and repeat a phrase. This helps erase the program that is giving you it's fear, and helps your body get over it. War vets have used EFT to get over their war memories and phobias.

Step 4
To learn more about EFT, download the free manual here http://www.emofree.com. It's rather easy to do, only takes 2 minutes of your time, and is very effective. Sometimes you'll need to do a few cycles to truly get over your phobias, but it has amazing results, check it out for yourself.

on 6/16/2009 I need some help. I am TERRIFIED of just hearing the name 'Chucky'. I am only 13 years old. I am constantly being bugged about it at school. I have told my parents, and the staff at my school, but it is still persisting. I want to end it now. I would not be able to watch the movie, that would only make matters worse. Please help me.
