How to Make Panettone French Toast

Try this new twist on French toast with an Italian treat, panettone.
Panettone is an Italian fruit cake. You will love this easy recipe.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 eggs
  • Milk
  • Panettone
  • Butter or margarine
  • Cinnamon
  • Frying pan
  1. Step 1

    Beat two eggs together. Add enough milk to the eggs so you can coat a slice of panettone.

  2. Step 2

    Slice the panettone length wise into bread size slices. Place one slice of the panettone into the egg and milk mixture. Coat both sides.

  3. Step 3

    Add butter or margarine to your frying pan. Place the egg and milk coated panettone into the frying pan. Cook until lightly brown on both sides.

  4. Step 4

    Serve with cinnamon or plain.
