How to Brine your Turkey When you are Short on Space

Interested in how to make a juicy turkey for the holidays but you are short on space? Learn how to make brining easy with tight space.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brine mixture
  • Ice water
  • Very strong plastic garbage bag
  • Foil pan or roasting pan
  1. Step 1

    Prepare your brine mixture according to the instructions. Let it cool.

  2. Step 2

    Wash and clean your turkey in water.

  3. Step 3

    Place your turkey in a strong plastic garbage bag with the breast side down.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the cool brine and ice water on to the turkey. Seal the bag with a twist tie. Carefully place the bag into your foil pan or roasting pan with the breast side down. Place in your refrigerator. Brine overnight.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you can, half way through the brining process carefully turn your turkey inside your plastic bag so the underside of the turkey can absorb the brine.
