How to Make Chex Mix

Chex mix is the perfect snack no matter who comes to your house. You can have a bowl of chex mix out when company comes for the holiday. Its easy to make and its a tasty treat.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3 cups corn chex ceral
  • 3 cups rice chex cerel
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • bowl
  • roasting pan
  • spoon
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Melt butter in large roasting pan in oven. Stir in seasonings. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.

  3. Step 3

    Bake 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

  5. Step 5

    Serve your delicious snack any time you have company or just have a snack for you and your family.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add 3 cups wheat Chex cereal too if you want.
  • You can add M&Ms.
