Love to eat cookies, how about candy bars. Well add them together and you get candy bar cookies. The kids will love these wonderful cookies and the adults will to.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 bag miniature Snickers bars
  • Cookie sheets
  • Spoon
  • Bowl

    How to Make Candy Bar Cookies

  1. Step 1

    Put butter, both sugars, salt and the baking soda in a large mixing bowl and beat with a mixer for about three minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Blend eggs and vanilla extract. Reduce mixer speed and add flour gradually.

  3. Step 3

    Chill the cookie dough for a couple of hours in refrigerator.

  4. Step 4

    Get a spoonful of dough and place a minature snickers candy bar in the center and roll into a ball so candy bar is in the middle of the dough.

  5. Step 5

    Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add any minature candy bar you like, which ever is your facorite.

on 10/11/2008 Not a fan of the Snickers, but once I add some Heath Bars or Milky Ways, I suspect this recipe is going to be a keeper...thanks!
