Rate: (3 Ratings)

Proposing at a baseball stadium is a fun and romantic way to ask the one you love to marry you. You can share your love of baseball with your girlfriend or boyfriend and create a lasting memory. The guest service department at your local baseball stadium will be your main source of information.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Call the stadium at which you wish to propose. Use the main office number listed in the phone book.
Step2
Ask to speak to guest services, the team's department designed to help guests at the baseball stadium.
Step3
Tell guest services you will be attending a baseball game and would like to propose marriage at one of the games. Be prepared with your ticket date and seat information.
Step4
Choose a inning or time you would like the proposal to go on the scoreboard. Your team may have a pre-planned inning they use for proposals.
Step5
Fax the exact proposal along with the name of the person to whom you are proposing to guest services. This will ensure correct spelling of any names.
Step6
Plan out how you will get your loved one to look at the scoreboard when the proposal will be showing. Check the tips sections below for help with this.
Step7
Call guest services the morning of the game and ask a manager to make sure your plan is in order.

Tips & Warnings

  • Buy four seats and invite a few friends to come with you. They can video the game or take photos for you.
  • Always get the name and number of the guest services employee helping you, in case of problems.
  • Devise a way to get your loved one to look at the scoreboard. Try asking him or her, “What is the score?” You can also bend down on one knee, pop open a ring box, and ask the question while it is on the screen
