Melted chocolate can be used for making several tasty treats. Dipping fruit or pretzels into melted chocolate creates a yummy dessert. But making sure the chocolate is melted properly is key.

  • A bag of chocolate chips
  • A bowl
  • A microwave
  • A spoon
  1. Step 1

    Pour the chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Put the chocolate into the microwave and heat for 10 to 15 seconds.

  3. Step 3

    Mix up the chocolate.

  4. Step 4

    If it needs to be heated longer, put it back in the microwave for another 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat this process until chocolate is smooth.
