Help your preschooler see what's underwater without getting wet. This water viewer is a perfect take-along for pond exploration.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • CXean milk carton
  • Scissors
  • Clear plastic wrap
  • Rubber band

    How to Make a Water Viewer for Preschoolers

  1. Step 1

    Cut both the top and bottom off an empty milk carton.

  2. Step 2

    Place plastic wrap over one end and secure it with a rubber band.

  3. Step 3

    Place the plastic-covered end in the pond and look through the open end to see what is happening underwater.

Tips & Warnings
  • The water viewer can also be used in the bathtub or a small pool. Place small items in the water to be viewed.
  • Always supervise young children near water.
