How to Make Chess Brownies

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 9-by-13-inch pan

Instructions

      Combine the cake mix, two eggs and margarine, then spread into the greased pan.

      Mix the powdered sugar, cream cheese and remaining two eggs, then spread on top of the preceding mixture.

      Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F.

      Let cool, then cut into squares.
