Here's a recipe for a favorite Southern candy.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup maple sugar
  • 2 cups pecans
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  1. Step 1

Boil maple syrup, sugar and cream. If a dollop of the mixture forms a ball when dropped into cold water, then it's done.

  2. Step 2

Remove from heat and beat until the mixture reaches a creamy consistency, then introduce the pecans.

  3. Step 3

Let cool on a sheet of waxed paper.
