1. Start at the Los Angeles Animal Services website, where you can read information about the low-cost programs available, specifically The Big Fix (see Resources below).
2. Locate the Animal Care center that services your zip code. These centers are listed at the Los Angeles Animal Services website.
3. Call the Animal Care center that services your zip code to set up an appointment. They may want to know the approximate age and weight of your pet.
4. Take your pet to the Animal Care center in a pet carrier appropriate for his size. After the surgery, be sure to ask your veterinarian for post-operative care instructions.
