This is for the Halt: When we all need a little motivation. This is a way to brighten a less than perfect day.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • You
  • A pen and paper
  • Something you love
  • An idea

Step1
Sit and Go Blank The first step is to make time for a moment. Take one or two minutes just to clear your mind. Get in a comfortable position and reflect on absolutely nothing. Its not meditation. Its more like just drawing a blank for a moment.
Step2
Second, remember something or think it up, not just anything but something you really dream of. Perhaps, a lovely evening planned specifically for you and that special someone with everything going perfectly. The happiest look on your children's faces, a beautiful sunset, congratulations from your boss: just let the ideas flow.
Step3
When you feel ready, go and grab your pen and paper. Write down something you really want, not just things but an experience, vacation, or accomplishment. Now, write down a way to get it. For instance, if its a vacation you're dreaming up, write "create a savings plan". Then go on to something else that will need to be done like, "have a family meeting to discuss possible destination points".

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't be afraid to think of things that seem impossible ... because nothing is.
  • Remember your childhood dreams.
  • Get going, perfect is up to you.
