Wake up an hour before your partner usually gets out of bed. Set up the table while your partner is still asleep. Use a plain white tablecloth and set the table using fine silverware, china and glassware. Remember to trim the flowers and put them in a vase on the breakfast table.

Cook your planned breakfast meal as quietly as possible. Bring cold foods to the table as soon as they're finished. Cook hot foods last. When the hot foods are finished, bring them to the table and prepare your partner's plate.

Brew a pot of coffee if your partner likes coffee. If not, pour a glass of juice or other breakfast drink. A mimosa, a mix of equal parts orange juice and champagne, is a romantic breakfast drink.
