You may have seen shop windows that are painted for the holidays and special occasions and wondered how you could achieve the same look at home, but with easy clean-up. It is really easy and fun! You may wonder why the "Things You'll Need" list calls for fabric paint instead of window paint or shoe polish. Fabric paint will peel off of your windows in sheets. No messy soap and water clean-up!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fabric paint
  • Stencils
  • Sponge brushes
  1. Step 1

Tape your stencil onto the window and load your sponge brush with paint. Dab the paint onto the window inside the stencil. Make sure not to let the coat of paint be too thin. Thin layers won't peel off of the window.

  2. Step 2

Use the nozzle of the fabric paint bottles to add details and fine lines to your paintings.

  3. Step 3

Let the paint dry and you're done!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't paint windows that have a condensation problem. The paint won't stick or dry.
