1
Research the sororities on campus and identify those that interest you. Your university's website will have details about rush activities and themed events or parties on its Greek information page.

2
Dress fancily, but don't push it. Sorority rush starts out casually and gets more formal by the end of the week, culminating in a black dress formal for the final event. For casual days, you might be issued a T-shirt to wear with jeans or pants, so make sure that the jeans or pants you wear fit well without being provocative.

Progress from the casual days to the formal days by wearing cute skirts with nice tops. Make sure colors aren't too loud. If you have decided on a sorority, you might want to wear its colors. A skirt of any color will go with a neutral-colored tank top.

Wear nice sundresses as the week progresses. On the last day, when you choose a sorority, wear a cocktail dress.

Choose a piece of nice jewelry to wear with your outfits. Don't overdo it, though, because wearing too much jewelry will put off your potential sisters. Find a nice piece that goes with your outfit and wear it well. Follow this guideline with makeup as well. It's best to wear a little, but if you pack it on, you might go from looking good to looking scary.

6
Get some work done. Having someone do your hair will allow you to display its full luster during rush week. Make sure your nails are shining brightly by treating yourself to a mani/pedi before rush week.
-
7
Get your feet into several pairs of shoes for each outfit you're planning before rush week. Start with nice pairs of flats -- avoid flip-flops, sports shoes and Uggs -- for the first few days. As the week progresses don more formal footwear. On the final day, wear a fantastic pair of heels with your cocktail dress.

Tips & Warnings
Remember, "Dress to Impress!" Jeans are not a good choice for a sorority recruitment. It may make it seem like you did not care enough to dress up.
If you are wearing open toed shoes, make sure to have a fresh coat of polish. This will make you look very put together head to toe.
