Not sure what those funny codes are on your Coke products? You have not exactly hit the jackpot, but over time these rewards could earn you some nice prizes. This is a unique website from Coca Cola. It can help you out with entertainment or even larger purchases and it costs noting but time. Here's some helpful, creative hints to get started collecting My Coke reward points and to find out if this is for you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer or cell phone with Internet Access
  • Coke rewards from all Coca Cola products
  • Mycokerewards.com website membership (free)
  • Time

Step1
Go to your computer and click on the Internet on your cell phone or computer.
Step2
Access the My Coke Rewards website in your browser(see Resources below) and become a member (if you are not already).
Step3
Sign in with your username and password and keep that information in a safe place as you will need to enter it each time. Click "enter codes."
Step4
Type in the funny looking alphanumeric codes on the inside of bottle caps or any 12 or 24 packs of Coca Cola soda pop products. Enter the codes carefully, noting that they are not case sensitive. Incorrect entries are not accepted. If you enter more than 10 Coca Cola product codes, you will receive a message that only 10 per day are allowed.
Step5
To redeem a prize or enter sweepstakes, click on "rewards and contests" and either type something in the search box or select a category, points range or featured program.
Step6
Note that there are different rewards at times. If you do not have enough for a desired reward, click "save as favorite" on the website (while in the dialog box) to be notified if supplies become low. This will enable you to better plan for point redemption.
Step7
Redeem points for codes that come in the email. It is a good idea to print and/or save these emails and make sure the codes work. You may also be prompted to print some rewards on your own. Keep these in a safe place.
Step8
Enter sweepstakes for 3 points per entry. There is no guarantee of winning (for a maximum of 20 sweepstakes entries per day). You can also donate stored points to certain charities (this varies by season) to help others.
Step9
Save your points for a larger prize or for birthday presents. You do not have to order products directly from Coke. There are major retailers who partner with this site to give you a wide variety.
Step10
Have fun with it! And don't forget to redeem your points some time or all your labor is for nothing. Good luck!

Tips & Warnings

  • This Coca Cola rewards program is expected to continue until some time in 2009, so keep up to date with the site.
  • Have someone save the rewards for you that does not wish to collect and enter the codes. Or, perhaps a grocery or convenience store would help you out with this.
  • If you have a large collection of codes, get in the habit of entering them daily.
  • This information is not stored on your hard drive, but rather on the Coca Cola website so you can access it from any computer, cell phone or handheld device.
  • Keep your codes in a safe place and discard right after entering
  • Tell family, a friend or two to start saving these codes if they are not using them.
  • You are only allowed 10 codes per day.
  • In demand rewards vanish quickly.
  • You are only allowed 20 contest/sweepstakes entries per day (or until you run out of points).
  • Kids, ask your parents before joining or redeeming prizes.
  • Codes can only be used once.
