Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Information to live by: Don't touch the first-floor elevator button, it has the most germs. Shopping cart handles carry a ton of germs. Escalator handrails are loaded with germs. Public bathrooms: use the first toilet. It's hardly ever used. Office coffeepots--yikes. Dirty sink, dirty pot, dirty sponge...need I say more! Use your own mug. Clean pot with vinegar.
Step2
Your kitchen: Toss the sponge in the micro for two minutes to kill 98% of those germs that have been hanging around your sink. Your desk is dirtier than your toilet. So is your office phone, computer keyboard..etc. Use a disinfectant first. Avoid handshaking at all costs. Avoid kissing in the winter if someone has a cold/flu.
Step3
While there are many steps to preventing disease, the best one is to wash hands frequently. Scrub with warm water and soap at least 15 seconds. Finally, never touch a public bathroom door handle going in OR out. Use a paper towel or tissue from your pocket: 67% of users in public toilets never was their hands after using the facilities. Yuck!
