Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
You’ve heard this before, but it bears repeating: research, research, research! You probably did some of this while crafting your cover letter and checking out the job posting, but refresh your memory by going over it again.
Step2
While doing your research come up with questions you’d like to ask the interviewer. Asking questions shows that you’ve not only done your homework by learning about the company but are interested and have prepared for the interview.
Step3
Practice answering behavioral type questions. Most interviews consist of questions that require you to provide an example of previous behavior.
Step4
The night before, pick out what you’ll wear (make sure it’s ironed) and collect all necessary documents for the interview (2 copies of your resume, 2 copies of your references, notepad and pen).
Step5
Get to the job interview at least 15 minutes early. Don’t be late!
