You are the architect of your life. If you are not happy where you are, if you believe fate has been unkind to you, it is time to reclaim the reins of your life. This is the time to change. It's a new year, a new season, a new beginning. Open a fresh chapter in your book of life and get ready to fill the pages with blessings, love, happiness and success. It you want 2008 to be different than 2007, step out in faith, out of your usual routine and dare to try new things.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a big vision for your life. Do not have small dreams, small thoughts. Stop dreaming safely and envision yourself succeeding beyond your wildest dreams. If your dream is to move by the ocean, picture yourself there. You produce what you continually see in your mind. The dream must first be conceived in your mind, in your heart, before you can receive it.

  2. Step 2

Don't get stuck in a rut. Don't believe for one moment you have reached your limits, that nothing bigger will come your way, that this is as far as you will go in life. God wants to promote you, He wants to pour out His favor on your life, He believes in you, but you need to get in agreement with Him. Reprogram your mental computer. Think big, think increase, think favor, think promotion.

  3. Step 3

Watch what you say. Your words have great power. If sentences like, "I'll never be successful, I can't do it, I can't do anything right," pour from your mouth time and time again, you are sabotaging yourself. Replace those negative words with words of victory. All through the day, declare out loud positive words, faith filled words like, "I am valuable, I am loved, I matter, I will succeed, my future will be filled with so many blessings they will chase me down and overtake me."

  4. Step 4

Become filled with enthusiasm. Make a decision today you will no longer go through the motions in life, that you are not going to live another day without joy and passion. Stir yourself up. Put a spring in your step. Tackle everything you do, even if it is mowing your lawn or washing your car, with a smile on your face. Give it your all. Don't accept mediocrity. Life is too short to spend it sour, bitter, angry and disappointed.

  5. Step 5

Get away from toxic people. They may be your friends or your relatives, but if they are constantly dragging you down, if you feel worse after spending some time in their company, it is time to look for a different circle of friends. Surround yourself with positive people, with dreamers, with people who are always going the extra mile.

Tips & Warnings
  • No one can rob you of your destiny unless you allow them to.
