Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Brush
Paint (base coat and 2 other top coat colors)
Rags
Drop cloth
Step1
1. Choose your base coat color. The sheen is better if you use a semi-gloss or gloss since it make it easier to remove and manipulate the faux finish.
Step2
2. Brush some medium loaded strokes of paint on the wall leaving a lot of the base coat showing.
Step3
3. Apply the second color the same way. Work quickly before the paint dries.
Step4
4. Press the lint-free rag into the paint. Turn and twist and blend the blogs together. Leave some of the base color un-touched.
Step5
5. Rub off more before the paint dries to give a hint of the 2 colors you just blended together.
Step6
6. Clean brushes and equipment.
