A good Super Bowl party will include the entire neighborhood, and you are just the person to throw it! You have the drive, and determination, but not the information. Look no more as you have found the answers to your questions.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Snacks
  • Televisions
  • Seating
  • Drinks
  • Team posters and apparel
  • Games
  • Video camera

Step1
Send out invitations to all your neighbors. Send them out in time to get back RSVPs and plan your party accordingly.
Step2
Plan to have plenty of seating and areas in which to view the game. To do this, be sure to clear out some room. Also, you might want to put away the antique vase that your Aunt Margaret gave you unless you want it used as a football.
Step3
Set up several areas with televisions. If you are short on televisions, borrow from the neighbors for the event. Most of them do not mind pitching in if you are providing the venue. Have at least three viewing areas in different places in the house. This step is adjustable depending on how many people attend. The bathroom television is optional.
Step4
Take up a collection for the food and snacks at the party. This is an optional step, but most people do not mind helping out. Also, hire a babysitter for a couple of hours to take care of the kids. This will be a huge hit among the parents in the neighborhood.
Step5
Consider renting a big screen TV, if you do not have one, for the ultimate neighborhood Super Bowl party. You do not know heaven until you view the Super Bowl on a big screen.
Step6
Have some games to play during the time before and after the Super Bowl. Some of the people may not be interested in the game, and may appreciate the gesture as well.
Step7
Be sure to have some clear battle lines drawn for fans of opposing teams. The good natured ribbing is the best part of the ultimate neighborhood Super Bowl party.

on 1/3/2008 If you don't want to take up a collection, a less awkward approach is to have everyone bring something and you can put that right on the invite.

I have gotten invites like this and truly do not mind. Great tips, sounds like a blast! Wish our neighbors would read your article and have a party themselves!!

Happy 2008!!!!
