Apple's iPhone has an awesome google maps application on it that can help you when your stranded and desperate. However, it should be noted that it is better to learn how to use this before you are mad, in traffic and lost. Therefore, let me help you help yourself.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Press the center button on your iPhone. Slide the slider across the screen to unlock the phone.
Step2
Press the MAPS function listed in the second row from the top and the second from the right on the phone.
Step3
Start and End functions will appear at the top of the screen. Below a keypad will appear. You can use they keypad to punch your current address into the start application; you can use the keypad to punch your destination into the end application.
Step4
Once both of these fields are programmed in, press the "route" button. The route button is located in the bottom right hand of the screen. When you press the route button, a map will appear on your iPhone.
Step5
Below the map, three options will appear: map, satellite and list. Map will show you the route your car ill take with a red line; satellite will show your location on larger coordinates and list will be most useful to your in traffic. It will tell you step by step how to get to your destination. While in the map and satellite applications, you can press the car icon (located on the right of the screen); traffic patterns will appear on the map then and you can know where to avoid.
