Step 1
Know that weird quirks are a way of life. Check these superstitions out: Baseball players never stepping on the white chalk line; Rosary Beads hanging from the car mirror believing a head-on with a 16 wheeler is survivable; Sports figures pointing to the sky after a home run or touchdown as if anyone really believes God had something to do with it. How about the number 13.

Step 2
Be aware that other superstitions include crossing your fingers, blowing out candles, tossing a coin in a fountain then making a wish, a rabbits foot brings good luck and a four-leaf clover, too. Know that if you see a shooting star here comes good luck. Using the same pencil to take a test that you used for studying, the pencil will remember the answers. Break a mirror, it's bad luck and so is kissing a frog. Yuck!

Step 3
Don't worry about the serial killer superstition. If you have 13 letters in your name, you'll have bad luck. Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, all have 13 letter in their name. Speaking of that, did you hear about the guy who was so dumb, he thought Wheaties, Grape Nuts, Corn Flakes and Cheerio's were serial killers?
