How to Stay Positive in Volleyball

Step1
Be serious, but don't ever lose sight of why you're playing in the first place. Remember that volleyball is a fun game and you enjoy it!
Step2
Become friends with your teamates. Your chemistry off the court will affect your chemistry on the court as well.
Step3
Set goals for yourself. If you achieve one, set it higher and keep trying to reach it. Mentally keep track of the goals you have reached, and remind yourself of them later. This will boost your self esteem and confidence, making volleyball your sucess story!
Step4
Make someone laugh! If the team is down, contagious laughter will likely put them in a good mood.
Step5
Give compliments. Telling others they're doing a good job will often make you feel better yourself!
Step6
Keep an open mind. If someone instructs or coaches you, be sure to listen to what they have to say and at least try it. If you don't try it, then you can't say it doesn't work! Always be willing to try to improve yourself.
