Things You'll Need:
- Telephone
- Car
- Cash or credit cards
-
Step 1
Find out which of your favorite make-up brands has a counter at a mall near you. Check out Clinique, Mac, Lancome, Chanel and other famous brands.
-
Step 2
Give yourself ample time to get your make-up done and make it to your event on time. Do not wait until the last hour.
-
Step 3
Call and ask if you can reserve a time slot to get your make-up done. Ask if there is a fee. It’s usually free or $40 max for full make-up application.
-
Step 4
Go to the make-up counter and check in. If you haven’t already made a reservation you may have to wait, but there’s a better chance to get your mini-makeover for free or small make-up purchase if you walk in.
-
Step 5
Have an idea of the color scheme you’d like on your face. Or, let the makeup artist know what colors your outfit will be that night. That way the artist can coordinate your make-up so that it doesn’t clash with your attire.
-
Step 6
Sit in the make-up chair and voila! Your mini-makeover is complete.
