Make a NO Sew Christmas Tree Skirt
Make a NO Sew Christmas Tree Skirt

Need to cover up the bottom of the Christmas Tree and you don't want to use a sloppy white sheet. Here's a quick no sew skirt that you can keep simple or decorated it as much as you want.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • white, red, any color felt
  • felt snowflake stickers
  • snowflake sequins
  • star sequins
  • white pom-pom ribbon trim
  • sparkling white ribbon trim
  • any color trim
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • scissors
  1. Step 1

Cut felt into a circle. Remember how you would fold a square in quarters when you were in grade school. Do the same here and then cut a rounded edge. Before unfolding, also cut off the tip to create a circle-shaped hole in the center of the tree skirt. When unfolded you will have a circle.

  2. Step 2

Unfold felt and cut one side open, which will allow you to slide skirt around tree's base. If the circle is uneven go ahead and trim the edge before you go to the next step.

  3. Step 3
    Glue Gun

Now is the fun part. Attach sparkling, white or any color ribbon trim to the edge of the skirt with hot glue. Come in about one inch and glue some the pom-pom trim down.

  4. Step 4
    Felt Material
    Felt Material

Make snowflakes out of white material and dot with sequins and attach them to the skirt. Make gold stars with sequins and attach them. Make a red one and scallop the edges and add white sequins. Make brown felt puppies or cute gray kittens with sequin eyes. Use your creativity.

  5. Step 5

Place finished tree skirt around the base of your Christmas tree for a one of a kind decoration.

Tips & Warnings
  • Tip: Work in small sections, attaching the trims to the hot glue before it can dry.
  • At the material store they sale bags of left over trim and things that are good for a project like this.
