How to Make a Singapore Sling Drink

This recipe really did originate in Singapore, and was thought to be a drink for the ladies because it was pink. It's now a classic. Serves one.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Put the gin, Benedictine, lemon juice, sour mix and grenadine in a shaker with cracked ice.

  2. Step 2

    Shake five times.

  3. Step 3

    Pour into a chilled collins glass.

  4. Step 4

    Top off with club soda.

  5. Step 5

    Pour brandy over the back of a spoon into the center.

  6. Step 6

    Garnish with a flag.

Tips & Warnings
  • Spear a cherry to an orange or lemon wedge to make a flag.
  • Mixed drinks contain alcohol, so use moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
