There are a lot of misconceptions about coffee, so I have some freshly brewed comments to make. Read on to learn how to decipher the myths of drinking coffee.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Get a better understanding of coffee by asking questions. What is the most widely used stimulant in the world today? Duh....it's coffee. Is coffee addictive? Coffee can be habit-forming, but not addictive. However, if you drink 12 cups a day, you'll probably be spending a lot of time near a bathroom. Does coffee aid your memory? Short-term coffee can help, while long-term, no.
Step2
Understand the strength of coffee. Do you know how fast coffee works in the body? Fast. Seconds after coffee hits the stomach, caffeine permeates the digestive tract and spreads through the body via your bloodstream. Once caffeine storms the castles of the brain, it gives off effects of stimulation.
Step3
Know that drinking coffee has some benefits. Here is good coffee news: If you smoke and drink coffee, caffeine opens up the bronchia in the lungs giving off more oxygen. The bad news is caffeine may be linked to a disease that makes your bones more brittle. It's called osteoporosis. To offset this, drink milk, too.
