Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Alcohol can shut down involuntary actions like breathing and gagging. Ethanol, the active ingredient in alcohol does its damage by inhibiting brain activity. Enough booze can affect the nerve cells that control breathing, resulting in a condition called: repiratory depression. Breathing become shallow, carbon dioxide enters, and you go into a coma.
Step2
You can be consuming a fatal dose of alcohol and not even know it. But while the sensation of being drunk is catching up, ethanol saturates the bloodstream and body tissue. If you keep drinking enough shots, death can become imminent. If you think about calling a doctor or visit the emergency room, there is no way known to "shortcut" a fix to the problem.
Step3
When someone survives alcohol poisoning, there is little risk in pemanent damage. However, there can associated injuries when you're in an alcohol stuper like falling out a window or a car crash. The key to all this could just be two words: common sense.
