Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ambition
  • Water
  1. Step 1

Portions are going to be a life saver over the holidays. Do not let yourself go without. Starving because you are on a diet plan is not going to work for you. Eventually, you will then give and in and ruin what you have been working towards. Keep in mind correct portion sizes and stick to them.

  2. Step 2

Do not overindulge in your favorite items. Just because last year you ate three slices of apple pie doesn't mean you should be a repeat offender. Over indulging will hurt you in the long run. Keep in mind portion control. If you stick to the correct portions sizes than you will eliminate the temptation to overindulge.

  3. Step 3

Do not keep yourself from eating your favorite holiday foods. Give yourself a taste of your favorites. Instead of eating a whole cookie split it with someone, or just nibble a little pinch. This way you are not missing out on your favorite treats. Instead you are enjoying them in smaller portions. You will thank yourself later for this. Remember to keep up with your water intake.

  4. Step 4

Keep up with you exercise routine. Just because things are busy and you are running around more than usual doesn't mean that you can take a break from exercise. We tend to let exercise be the first thing to fall off our list. Make time for yourself and exercise. Even if you have to cut it short, still fit it into your daily routine. If you can do all of these things and make it through this tough season without gaining, you will have accomplished so much and your body will thank you.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep up with your exercise.
  • Don't punish yourself if you cheat.
  • Family and Friends may pressure you; but it is not their body.
