When most of us think of golf, we think of clubs and small, dimpled balls. But disc golf, while similar, is a variation of regular golf. In disc golf, a disc, resembling a Frisbee, is thrown from a "tee" toward an elevated basket called a pole hole. If you're interested in this sport and wish to join the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), here's how.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Plan to join the PDGA early in the year and in advance of your first disc golf event.

  2. Step 2

Visit the PDGA website to access the online registration form. Click on the "Join the PDGA Now" icon on the left side of the screen once you are on the PDGA homepage.

  3. Step 3

Fill out the form completely. Enter all required information. This information is marked with the word "Required" in parentheses.

  4. Step 4

Choose a 1- to 5-year membership in either the professional, amateur or junior divisions. You can also select "Ace" or "Birdie Club" add-ons after choosing your division. Or, select "Eagle Club," a lifetime membership that includes the annual membership fee.

  5. Step 5

Click "Add to Cart" after completing the PDGA online registration form. Pay the membership fee associated with the division and length of time you selected, along with a $3 handling fee.

  6. Step 6

Allow 3 to 5 weeks to receive the membership material in the mail.

  7. Step 7

Renew your membership annually by completing a renewal form and paying the required fee.

Tips & Warnings
  • If selecting an "Ace Club" or "Eagle Club" membership, fill out your shirt or jacket size, as Ace Club members receive a shirt and Eagle Club members receive a personalized jacket.
  • You must be born in 1989 or later to join the junior division.
