Disc Golf has grown immensely in popularity. And much like golf, Disc Golf has spawned many techniques of how one should putt. One such technique is called the Turbo Putt. This is best used when you are stuck in an area where you can't rock back and forth to gain momentum and putt as you normally would in Disc Golf.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Turbo putt disc
  1. Step 1

Select the Turbo Putt Disc out of your bag. Just like regular golf has all different clubs, for all different situations, so does Disc Golf. But unlike golf, there is no limit as to how many discs you can have in your bag. The Turbo Putt Disc has a place for your thumb on the underside of the disc in the center with some spiraling pieces on the underside as well which allow the disc to "float" toward the hole.

  2. Step 2

Assume the position from where you are going to throw.

  3. Step 3

Place your thumb on the underside of the disc in the center.

  4. Step 4

Rest your remaining 4 fingers on the side of the disc. This should almost feel as if you are a waiter holding a pizza.

  5. Step 5

Bring your arm back to the side of your head.

  6. Step 6

Let the Turbo Putt rip. Bring your arm forward while simultaneously spinning your wrist. This snap movement will send the disc spinning and floating toward the hole. Think of the same motion you would in throwing a baseball curve ball.
