You adore your computer and don't want to trade up to a newer one. But finding accessories for your outdated computer has become difficult. However, there are still many places where you can find your accessories, if you know where to look.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Go to online auction sites such as eBay. Many people get rid of their outdated technology when they update to new computers. You can probably get accessories you need for only a few dollars.
Step2
Try to find at your accessories at computer repair stores, especially ones that have been in a business for a while. Chances are good, they have old computer accessories in a back room. If they don't, they may be willing to give you a call if any come in from defunct computers.
Step3
Join online forums for technogeeks such as GeekForum (see Resources below). The people on there may have accessories for your computer they'd be willing to sell to you, or may know of where you can get your outdated accessories.
Step4
Click onto computer repair websites such as Gurus2Go or PCTechBytes (see Resources below). Like brick and mortar stores, they may have outdated accessories they can't wait to get rid of.
Step5
Head to stores that sell computer accessories such as Newegg or CyberGuys (see Resources below). They may have what you need or may know where you can get your accessories from, if you ask them.
