Digital photo booths are the next evolution of the traditional photo booths. A digital photo booth allows the user to move the camera, choose the photo and pick the style of photo you want. These photo booths are more expensive to use than the traditional kind but they produce a better picture than the traditional photo booth.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sit on the bench inside the digital photo booth. Look at the camera. Digital photo booths have a screen inside that show you exactly what your picture will look like.

  2. Step 2

Adjust the height and angle of the camera as needed. There are buttons in front of you that allow you to do this.

  3. Step 3

Pay the fee required by the digital photo booth. This varies depending on the booth. Most accept both cash and credit cards.

  4. Step 4

Press the start button when you are ready to begin. After you do this, the digital camera takes 3 pictures.

  5. Step 5

Select the digital photo you like from the three pictures provided on the screen. A list of styles appears for you to choose from. Some options are oil painting, caricature and drawing. These change your picture into the type you choose. You can see on the screen what your photo will look like and change the style at this point.

  6. Step 6

Press the print button when you have chosen the picture and style that you like. The digital photo booth prints your photo, places it in a holder and sends it out of a slot on the outside of the booth. The printing takes up to 1 minute to complete.

on 4/15/2009 Digital photo booths are the next evolution, definitely agreed! However, not all digital photo booths are created equal. Since most consumers shop online to rent one, it's best to do research. What equipment is being used (Ink jet printers or dye-sub, 8 mega pixel cameras)? What does the booth look like? Is the booth attendant (that stays with the booth) a professional employee? Is the company local and have references? It's best to do homework before any surprises on your big day. My company is ShutterBox Photo Booth, we are a leading provider in Illinos and Las Vegas. There are other great companies out there, just make sure research is done if you want to rent a digital photo booth for an event.
