A rented photo booth can be a fun addition to your party or event. When you rent a photo booth, the guests are permitted to hop in and take their own pictures. The booths are simple to use and can generate a buzz about your party.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a company that rents photo booths. You need find a local company since they have to deliver the photo booth to your party venue. Check online rental companies like Photobooth STL and Smart Source Rentals (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Choose the type of photo booth that you wish to rent. There are retro black and white booths or photo booths that utilize digital technology imaging.

  3. Step 3

Rent the photo booth for an hourly or daily rate. Once you find a photo booth company, you are going to want to see their pricing options.

  4. Step 4

Set a delivery time and date. The rental company is going to let you know about delivery and set a time to drop off and pick up the photo booth. Most delivery charges are usually calculated into your rate.

  5. Step 5

Promote the photo booth to your guests. Once you rent a photo booth, make sure your guests know that it is there and free to use. The guests can keep the photos as party favors or give them to you to make a scrapbook.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you rent a photo booth, ask the company to show you samples of photos that were taken by the booth. This is a way to check the quality of the photos.
  • You can limit the use of the photo booth to adults only and supervised children. Kids can sometimes get carried away in a photo booth.

on 4/15/2009 How to rent a photo booth for an event? Do your homework! They are a ton of fun, but it's important to know what the booth looks like and that the company is a trusted source. What kind of equipment is being used? When shopping online, the photos don't always look the same on the computer as they do printed. What does the booth look like? Is company's picture of their booth a grainy picture on their website? It's best to see the booth in person and if it's a real company, then you can often make an appointment to see the booth in person. Does the company have references and Vendor Insurance? Important factors to consider. My company ShutterBox Photo Booth is local to Illinois and Las Vegas. We are passionate about mobile photo booths, and hope that every photo booth customer (where ever they are) hire professional companies. Our best suggestion: Check out the booth in person if possib
