You've been planning a local RV rally for a few months now and you need to come up with a way to let people know about all the great music, crafts and vendors that are going to be in attendance. Promoting your RV rally is not simply a matter of getting the word out. Here's how to promote an RV rally so you'll have a big crowd enjoying the festivities.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Develop a game plan to promote the RV rally. If you don't use your promotional dollars in an effective way, you'll be wasting them. Sitting down and planning who will benefit from the RV rally and who is most likely attend will help you direct where and how to promote the rally.

  2. Step 2

Advertise in "RV Companion" and other RVing magazines. Here you're directing your promotional dollars directly to someone who is already involved in RVing or is interested in getting involved.

  3. Step 3

Promote your rally with RV.net. They're the largest private RV resort network and have their own magazine called "Coast to Coast" that's distributed to their members eight times a year. You can choose to advertise exclusively in their magazine, or include all their locations in your promotional campaign with the use of fliers.

  4. Step 4

Ask local RV dealers to let their customers know about the RV rally. Ask them for their customer list so you can promote the rally via a direct mail campaign to this niche market.

  5. Step 5

Encourage your vendors to promote the event on their websites. It's in the best interest of your vendors to promote the rallies where they will appear, but many don't think of it. Ask them to put your RV rally on promotional fliers and promote it on prominent places within their websites.
