In the past, dirty dancing was done in basements or at house parties where only the invited guests saw you dance. Now dirty dancing is the prevalent style of dance at nightclubs, parties, weddings, and proms Many dancers go with the flow and dance however their partner is dancing. If dirty dancing makes you uncomfortable, use some of the tips below when asking your date to stop dirty dancing.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Tell your date you don't feel like dirty dancing or that it makes you uncomfortable. If they persist, loudly and forcibly say "NO."
Step2
Explain the reasons why you don't want to dirty dance. If your date knows you're not just playing a hard-to-get game, they'll more than likely respect your wishes and not dirty dance.
Step3
Turn around and give your date a look that communicates you're not interested in dirty dancing. This look can be mean and aggressive, or you can look at them like they're complete idiots and appear totally turned off.
Step4
Walk away from your date if they begin dirty dancing. Solo dirty dancing isn't fun, especially when other dancers are watching you.
Step5
Find another dance partner if your date insists on dirty dancing. Once they see you having fun elsewhere, they may apologize and dance more suitably.
Step6
Send your date off with someone else if they insist on dirty dancing and nothing you do or say stops them. Parties are notorious for having people willing to dirty dance with strangers.

Tips & Warnings

  • Aggressive dirty dancing can lead to aggressive sexual behavior, so if a date is dirty dancing and won't stop, leave the party.
