The NBA, or National Basketball Association, is steeped in tradition dating back to the inaugural game sixty-two years ago. For some NBA teams, wins come at furious pace, while for others, NBA wins are few and far between. Either way each NBA win gets a team one step closer to the ultimate prize of winning an NBA championship. Celebrating those wins is essential for full enjoyment of the NBA season.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Attend the NBA game in person. Now obviously this is not possible for every fan given the lack and price of tickets. However, there is nothing like witnessing a NBA team win person. So if possible, this is the best way to celebrate an NBA team win.

  2. Step 2

Gather at a locale that is a popular viewing spot for a particular NBA team. Most cities have sports bars or eating establishments that televise NBA games. Check the local phone directory for locations in each area and verify that the NBA game of interest is on the television. The camaraderie of like-minded fans is a great way to celebrate an NBA win.

  3. Step 3

Host an NBA basketball viewing party. Invite friends and relatives to a house or public place to view the NBA team of interest. This option is more personal than just visiting a local sport bar and is an opportunity for a person to celebrate an NBA team win with people close to them.

  4. Step 4

Realize the difference between regular season wins and playoff wins. The NBA regular season encompasses eighty-two games, and those wins are not as important as playoff wins. Playoff wins mean a team is one-step closer to championship and should be celebrated as such. However not every team makes the payoffs, so the regular season may be their fans only chance to celebrate.

  5. Step 5

Locate Internet fan sites for each NBA team and celebrate virtually with other fans on the Internet. With the advent of the Internet-specific sports sites dedicated solely to each NBA team, fans can communicate and celebrate with other fans anywhere in the world (see below).
