While the prom is an event to look forward to by both sexes, it's especially exciting for the girls. For some, it may even be a first date or a first kiss. Because this is such a special time for girls, they always want to look their best. Follow these steps to plan a beauty day before prom.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

See your hair stylist before prom. A new hair cut and color could be what the doctor ordered. It will not only make you and your friends see your outer beauty, but it will also make you feel great inside.

  2. Step 2

Make an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. You should get this done a day before the prom. Plan ahead so that you can get an appointment in the morning so the manicurist is bright and awake.

  3. Step 3

Check out the local beauty counter at a department store. Many times you can make an appointment to get your makeup professionally done for the prom at no charge. If you plan an appointment early enough, you can play around with different colors to compliment your dress.

  4. Step 4

Visit an esthetician. This should be done a few weeks prior to the prom. The esthetician can help you with any minor skin blemishes before prom. They can also give advice to treat future breakouts and maintain the beauty of the skin you have already.

  5. Step 5

Relax with a massage. This can be done the day of the prom before getting the makeup done and the hair done. This is your time to just relax and think about the enjoyment you are about to embark on.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you're on a tight budget, schedule a day of beauty appointments at a local beauty school. They'll have reduced rates for facials, manicures, pedicures hair styling and more.
