Buy your tickets well in advance. The rodeo sells out each year, so get your tickets as soon as they go on sale. Watch the Angola Prison Rodeo website for the sale date.

Call (225) 655-2030, 2607 or 2042 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to order tickets and for more information. Make payment to the Angola Prison Rodeo on your cashier's check or money order. Pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover as well. No personal checks are accepted.

Prepare to be searched. You have consented to have your person, property and car searched the minute you drive through the prison gates. Prepare to show your purse, diaper bag and any other bags you may have.

Bring only yourself, family, friends, and wallet. No food, drinks, coolers, weapons, ammunition, alcohol and drugs are allowed on prison property. There will be lots of food venders to choose from. Buy barbecue, Mexican, Creole or just a hot dog at the event. Enjoy!
