1
Call your favorite spa for an appointment, but don't be surprised if they book up early. Prom time is a busy time of year, with every girl wanting to look and feel her best. Get a facial a week before the big night. Just relax and let the technician massage your tensions away.

2
Stop by the cosmetic counter of your local department store a week early for a free makeover. Pay attention while the make up artist is applying her wares; you want to be able to duplicate the look, assuming you like it, on the night of prom.

Schedule your hair color in advance. Salon color looks the most natural a few days after you have it done. If you're going to wear an "up do" make sure you schedule the appointment well ahead for the afternoon of prom, so you can go right home and dress.

Host your best friends for a manicure/pedicure party 2 days before prom. Take turns doing each other's nails. This is a good time to wax and pluck stray eyebrows too.

Tips & Warnings
Make the appointment for your hairdo very early. Good stylists are booked up months in advance. Consider a "dry run" appointment a couple of weeks before so you can be sure you love the style.
Don't change your brand of cleanser, foundation or eye makeup within 2 weeks of the prom. Your skin may need some time to adjust and the last thing you want to encourage is your skin to break out.
