1. Go to the WAHM site. The address is in the resource section.
2. Look for jobs. If your primary interest in the board is to find work-at-home jobs, check under "Telecommuting Moms". There is a topic you can read "READ THIS FIRST ...First Stop for Newbies." This will tell you all you need to know to find work at home. There are also leads posted daily for new jobs you can apply for.
3. Chat with others who are doing the same type of work that you are doing. There are forums set up for different companies who hire work-at-home people, and there are forums for people who are in the same type of work--such as writing. This will give you a chance to learn from others. For example, if you are a coder and are applying for work at a specific company, the people who are working for that company may be able to give you some tips on being hired or at least what to expect.
4. Post your own leads. If you are looking for work at home and you find a lead that isn't listed in the WAHM website, you can post it so others may be able to look into it and find a job themselves. The purpose of the board is WAHMs helping WAHMs.
5. Talk to others about the problems you are having in finding work. Support groups are always helpful and when you are at your lowest point the WAHM website can be your biggest ally.
6. Check out all the other things that the WAHM website has to offer. You will be surprised at what you will find.
