      Choose photos to use in your book. Pick all the photos that you like to include in the album. Use photos from previous albums to fill your book. Look for photos of Dad doing things he enjoys, and, of course, don't forget dad with the kids.

      Scan or download the photos onto your computer so you can send them via the Internet to Shutterfly. Make a copy of the file and save it.

      Set up a Shutterfly account using your name and a password. Once the account is set up, you can start downloading photos to an album you create by choosing the "Add Pictures" tab at Shutterfly's main page.

      Start your Father's Day photo book by clicking on the "Shutterfly Store" tab and pick the Father's Day photo book design. Choose from memory books, story books or classic photo books. All have designs specifically created for Father's Day.

      Insert pictures on the pages picking the layouts you want for each page. Add captions that include the names of the people in the pictures with dad. Also write some cute stories about fun times with dad like fishing trips, playing ball, football afternoons and other special moments.

Tips & Warnings

  • You're Father's Day photo book requires a minimum of 20 pages, so you'll need at least 20 photos. You can add extra pages up to 80, and put several photos on pages in a collage form.

  • Find old photos of dad before he was a dad. Ask mom or some other old family friends and relatives for help in finding photos of dad doing things he loves.

  • If you've got several siblings, ask for help so they get their favorite photos in the book too.

  • Make sure you preview all pages to check the lay out. Spend time checking all spelling and names. You're responsible for proofreading, and once you order your book you agree to the photos and text you have created. Shutterfly isn't responsible for misspellings or photos you put in the wrong places.
